You can tell from one look at the Kia Soul warranty that this is one of the most reliable models on the market. That’s why the Kia warranty is confident enough to provide such wide and enduring coverage – they know just how unlikely you are to need it. Of course, you’ll still want to know exactly how it serves to improve your peace of mind during everyday driving, so we’ve put together a quick guide to the following questions:
As most drivers in San Diego or San Diego already know, even minor problems can leave you hit by high repair bills. That’s why the Kia Basic Warranty covers all the components of your new Kia Soul for:
It goes on which of those landmarks you reach first from the date of your first service. The limited Kia bumper-to-bumper warranty doesn’t cover wear or maintenance items, but it does protect you from unexpected repair costs.
The Kia Powertrain Warranty picks up when your Basic Warranty expires to cover key elements of the Kia Soul powertrain, except against wear and maintenance.
Parts covered include:
As you can imagine, those are often some of the priciest parts to fix, so having them covered should take a load off your mind. Better yet, the Powertrain Warranty is active for 120 months or 100,000 miles from the date of first service.
Having a transferable warranty is a real plus if you want a good price when you come to sell your Kia. Only the 120-month/100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty isn’t transferable, so you’ll be able to pass the Bumper-to-Bumper warranty on to a new owner.
The Kia Powertrain Warranty covers your powertrain and engine against defects, minus wear and maintenance, for up to 120 months or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the Date of First Service in San Diego and elsewhere.
Only the following items are covered under the Powertrain Warranty:
Travel with confidence in a Kia Telluride thanks to more than 17,000 roadside assistance providers available 24/7. Flat tire? No problem. Out of gas? We can help. Dead battery? It won’t ruin your trip. Overheated engine? You could get a tow to the nearest Kia dealer for repairs.
If your vehicle will need more than 24 hours to repair and you’re more than 150 miles from home, your Kia warranty can cover lodging, rental car costs, or meals up to a certain point with reasonable reimbursement coverage for the inconvenience when you’re far away from Kearny Mesa.
Should you choose to sell your new Kia before the new vehicle warranty is up, any portion of the Kia warranty is transferable to the next owner with one exception. The only Kia warranty that is not transferable to subsequent owners is the 120-month/100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty.
